Definitely leaning toward a slower summer this year (we’re still on the fence about doing a “get-on-a-plane vacation), though a lot of that is the looming sense of uncertainty – both economic and just general unease – we’re feeling at the moment due to what’s happening in the U.S. Curious if other people are feeling this way too?
I like to know that there are women who are happy in their day-to-day lives. Who look for happiness in the little things between one tiring job and another. I do that too. I believe that happiness is in everyday life and I don't like having to travel or go to a certain famous place just because everyone goes.
We just had the most amazing “boring” beach spring break thanks to rain and mostly chilly weather but man my nervous system needed that! We spent so much time sitting on porches and relaxing in hammocks. It was the opposite of being overstimulated.
“I’m not stuck, I’m simmering.” - new reminder for when I’m feeling stuck in life, which is all the time lately!

Loving this!! If I can’t pretend I’m in a Nancy Meyers movie, I don’t want it!
Just downloaded the app last night because I do want to get back to reading. This article stood out to me because I could relate. Good read!
